| Huntsworth Health to expand Tonic Life Communications | Posted on 22/10/2009 in Marketing Services Huntsworth Health is undertaking a major restructuring process to expand the remit of Tonic Life Communications.
According to PR Week, Tonic will become the "dominant PR operation" of Huntsworth Health following the overhaul, which will also see the firm's medical and digital communications offerings rebranded.
The new-look Tonic will include Huntsworth Health's existing PR team and also replace Dorland Global PR, the US-based venture which is also set for rebranding.
Huntsworth Health acquired Tonic for an initial payment of £3 million in July this year, when chief executive David Rowley said that the addition would support his firm's "global aspirations to become a world-class player in the healthcare public relations arena".
Rowley left his position at Huntsworth Health after eight years with the company earlier this month, with Neil Matheson taking over as chief executive.
PR Week reported that Rowley may start up his own agency once his contractual obligations with Huntsworth Health have been satisfied.
