Sartorius offers new FLI SealTester

Sartorius has launched its latest scientific offering in the form of gas-flushed flexible product solution, the FLI SealTester.

The seal tester offers safety and reliability by performing 100 per cent seal testing of items such as gas-flushed bags.

This subtracts the need for time-consuming manual random sampling and the loss of tested products that conventional sampling involves, enabling firms to reduce their costs.

It also offers precise and reliable results thanks to incorporated patented technology, even during non-destructive testing at high throughput rates.

The first measuring belt applies a predefined pressure to the package, allowing its height to be recorded while under pressure.

Other advantages of the product include its auto-tuning mode that automatically memorises the setting parameters, its reproducible test results facility and easy-to-clean design.

Sartorius, which declared sales revenues of 611.6 million euros in 2008, provides equipment to the pharmaceutical and chemical industries and owns production facilities in Europe, Asia and the US.
