| Mettler Toledo launches FiveGo DO | Posted on 16/10/2009 in Scientific Mettler Toledo has released its latest offering to the scientific community, the FiveGo DO a machine that is designed to make measuring dissolved oxygen (DO) easier.
It boasts intuitive, user-friendly operation and requires minimal maintenance, due to its galvanic LE611 and LE612 DO sensors, which measure the dissolved oxygen concentration galvanically instead of polarographically.
This takes away the need for electrolyte refilling or membrane change, saving time and effort, the company highlights.
The accuracy of measurements is aided with the equipment's barometric pressure and salinity compensation, while the integrated electrode check will warn users when the performance of the sensor deteriorates.
Ease of use is another guarantee made by the firm, as the FiveGo DO Read button starts a measurement, while that marked Cal begins a calibration and Setup allows access to and change of the measurement setting.
Another product Mettler Toledo highlighted the benefits of recently is its compact dosing system Quantos a piece of equipment that it said makes weighing powders as small as 10 mgs noticeably easier.
