Cook Medical launches "unmatched global resource for clinical information"

Posted on 15/10/2009 in Medical Company Product News

Cook Medical has launched a new online facility aimed at providing further knowledge and resources to surgeons and other figures in the healthcare industry.

Speedy and assertive answers to queries about soft tissue repair such as hernia, fistula and pelvic floor repair procedures are provided by the first-ever informational microsite for Cook Medical's Biodesign grafts.

The resource, which can be found at CookBioDesign.com, is designed for users across the globe and features easy to access abstracts of clinical studies, research articles, news, and treatment success stories for Cook's biodesign advanced tissue repair products.

Andy Cron, vice-president of the company's surgery business unit, said: "Through the site, we are responding to and addressing a worldwide increase in biologic adoption, providing physicians with an unmatched global resource for clinical information, procedural training and disease research."

In other Cook Medical news, the firm attended the World Congress of Endourology in Munich last week and presented information on the related products it provides.
