| Zinsser Analytic introduces Calli-L | Posted on 15/10/2009 in Scientific Zinsser Analytic has launched Calli-L, a piece of equipment designed for the easier sampling of valuable material from compound libraries with subsequent dissolution to a set concentration for biological screening.
Calli-L allows all of the above three steps to be either set up on a single workbench or on two or three integrated workbench systems and uses powder dispensing technology to read and compare the sample barcode with that stored in in-house databases.
It then extracts the data, de-caps the library vial prior to solid sampling and dispenses the resulting sample into the dissolution vial.
"Calli-L can be customised to fit your dissolution needs exactly. Up to 384 samples can be processed per hour depending on instrument configuration," the company states.
Earlier this year, Zinsser Analytic pointed out that timing is integral for scientists engaged in important studies, meaning that the tools they utilise should be as efficient as possible.
