| Fishawack Communications appoints new managing director | Posted on 14/10/2009 in Marketing Services Fishawack Communications has completed a restructure of its board of directors, with Gail Flockhart taking over as managing director.
The new employee has been working in healthcare communications for over 20 years and joins the firm from Caudex Medical, where she was chief executive officer.
Ms Flockhart will report to chief executive Oliver Dennis, who worked alongside her in a previous company.
"Gail has a track record of achieving growth wherever she has worked," Mr Dennis commented.
Ms Flockhart, who has experience of managing agencies in the UK and the US, said that she was attracted by Fishawack's "refreshing" blend of specialist communications expertise and creativity.
She added: "These are highly-competitive times for independent medical communications businesses and Fishawack is one of a handful of agencies that has continued to thrive."
Fishawack offers services such as strategic publication planning, medical writing and event management for a client list that includes AstraZeneca, Servier, GlaxoSmithKline and CSL Behring.
