Posted on 09/10/2009 in Pharmaceutical Company Product News Almirall has released its latest product on to the skincare market ? Blastoactivia ? which is a skin cell repair cream containing double A select centella asiatica.
The cream is designed to treat aggravated skin and has an exclusive formula that comes from centella asiatica - a small herbaceous plant cultivated in Madagascar under strict scientific controls to ensure a high concentration of the most effectual active ingredients.
Blastoactiva stimulates renewal of the epidermis from the inside by revitalising cells and is indicated for use in two specific areas ? the first one being for skin affected by surface aggressions in post-scarring phase, irritations from cold weather, dryness, wind or pollution, surface acne scars and solar erythmas.
The second purpose is for aggravated skin after cosmetic procedures, such as laser treatment, peelings, hair removal, shaving, tattoos or post UVA treatment.
In other Almirall news, the firm presented the 2009 Pharmacology Award to Dr Mercedes Salaices last month.
The accolade was given to the industry participant during the 31st Spanish Society of Pharmacology Congress, which the company sponsors.
