| Greiner Bio-One introduces SensoPlate Plus | Posted on 23/09/2009 in Scientific Greiner Bio-One has announced the availability of a new product - the SensoPlate Plus glass bottom plate.
The equipment was designed in conjunction with Evotec Technologies and is specially optimised for fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) and derived methods for single molecule detection, as well as other microscopy applications.
Microplates are available in both 384 and 1536-well editions and feature high optical quality of the glass bottom with an exceptionally low curvature.
Each microplate consists of a borosilicate glass bottom attached to a black polystyrol frame and permits a total utilisation of all wells for measurements with immersion objectives.
Greiner Bio-One was founded in 1868 and was renamed in 2000, when it founded subsidiaries in both Brazil and Switzerland.
It launched its first biochips in 2002 and introduced PapilloCheck - its DNA Test-Kit for HPV-Screening - in 2006 in a bid to fulfil its aim of "achieving consolidated, sustained and independent growth on an international basis that ensures long-term business success".
