Posted on 23/09/2009 in Dental Supplier News GlaxoSmithKline - which owns various dental hygiene product brands - has been named by a magazine as one of the top 100 companies for working mothers.
For the 18th year in a row, the firm has been highlighted by Working Mother Magazine for its friendliness to employees with families to care for and was applauded for its flexitime, telecommuting, job-sharing and wellness programmes, among other initiatives.
Carol Evans, chief executive officer of Working Mother Media, said: "GlaxoSmithKline and our other winners provide leadership where and when we need it most, furnishing a framework of support for working families."
The firm states that its intentions are to promote a healthy work-life balance among its employees through workshops that explore their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
This news comes after GlaxoSmithKline was named as one of the best companies for employees over the age of 50 by the non-profit membership organisation AARP.
