Baxter “well-positioned” to enhance future growth

Baxter is in a good position in terms of enhancing its future growth, it has been asserted.

Robert Parkinson, chairman and chief executive officer of the organisation, made his comments as the firm held its investor conference in recent days, where it discussed its growth opportunities and financial objectives.

He stated that the firm remains committed to improving its culture into one that places “sustained focus” on innovation and showing off the value of its therapies and products via clinical differentiation.

“We believe we have a balanced outlook and are well-positioned to achieve our results while making appropriate investments to enhance future growth,” Mr Parkinson concluded.

The firm, which appeared in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the 11th consecutive year earlier this month, concluded by stating that it expects to increase sales by around seven or eight per cent – excluding the impact of foreign currency – over its five-year long-range plan period.
