Posted on 03/09/2009 in Medical Company Product News Kimberly-Clark has announced a significant new appointment in its UK and Ireland operations.
The firm has recruited Kim Underhill as its new vice-president, following the departure of Giles Turrell and she will relocate from the US to London to take up her new post.
Ms Underhill, who has been at the helm of Kimberly-Clark's tissue operations in North America, has also worked within the company's infant care and personal care departments in the past.
She explained: "While these are challenging times, this is also a time of opportunity for trusted brands and innovative companies like Kimberly-Clark to prove their value to our customers and consumers."
This news comes after the company appointed a new global media director last autumn. Mark Kaline, who was described as a "veteran" of the Ford company by Brandweek, joined the company's global marketing organisation on October 20th.
