| Agilent Technologies reveals improvements to oscilloscope range | Posted on 03/09/2009 in Scientific Agilent Technologies has announced the availability of an improved version of is Infiniium 90000 Series high-performance digital-storage oscilloscopes and Infiniium 9000 Series mixed-signal and digital-storage oscilloscopes.
With the upgraded products, engineers using oscilloscopes to measure jitter to ensure compliance to industry standards for interoperability can expect lower jitter budgets and less tolerance for measurement error from the oscilloscope.
Longer test-pattern lengths will also be supported with the Agilent Infiniium 90000 Series' accurate real-time measurement capabilities and deepest memory, Agilent adds.
Scott Sampl, vice-president and general manager of Agilent's oscilloscope organisation, stated: "The last thing we want is our customers working harder to optimise their designs because we're consuming their jitter budget."
News of the company's improved oscilloscopes comes after it announced the availability of its new Microplate Labeller, which is capable of delivering automated on-demand and barcode print-and-apply applications in life science laboratories.
