The firm, which received the award at the McKesson 2009 National Sales Meeting, was recognised for its commitment to its clients and the efficiency of its operations.
Eric Steen, senior vice-president and chief marketing officer at B Braun Medical, said that the award is a significant achievement as it demonstrates that the company is "delivering on its promise" when it comes to providing the best services to healthcare providers.
He added: "We are honored that McKesson has selected us as supplier of the year and are committed to continued collaboration with them to make certain their customers benefit from the most advanced products and services."
Earlier this year, B Braun's patented safety catheter was highlighted as being responsible for a reduction in the number of medical instrument-related injuries in hospitals by explained Health and Equipment Supplies.
