Posted on 13/08/2009 in Pharmaceutical Company Product News Welch Allyn, a global products and solutions manufacturer, has unveiled an online tool designed to better inform doctors as to the details and benefits of connectivity.
The aim of the new website is to provide healthcare centres with a reference point and information on the importance on the financial and communication benefits of being connected to the internet.
It also ensures that patient information is updated regularly, which in turn, can serve to improve workflow, the company adds.
"Our new connectivity resource center will teach doctors how they can make their practices more efficient and more effective in treating their patients by simply implementing medical device connectivity technology," senior category manager of cardiopulmonary at Welch Allyn Steve Kenan explained.
Welch Allyn announced last month that it has appointed Karen Roscher as its new senior vice-president and chief financial officer.
