| Datamonitor to integrate technology businesses | Posted on 10/08/2009 in Marketing Services Datamonitor has announced plans to integrate its three technology businesses under the Ovum brand.
From September 1st, Butler Group, Ovum and Datamonitor Technology will combine, merging the talents of more than 350 business analysts and 150 ICT experts.
On the day of integration, Ovum will also launch a pair of new research services, Ovum Enterprise IT Knowledge Center and Ovum Technology and Industries Knowledge Center, both of which will be based around its cutting-edge Knowledge Center platform.
Datamonitor asserted that the existing Ovum Technologies research service and all other Datamonitor Group business analysis offerings - including healthcare and pharmaceuticals - will be unaffected by the change.
Mark Meek, chief executive officer of Datamonitor Group, said: "When combined with the Ovum Telecoms and the Orbys Black Book of Sourcing Knowledge Centers, the ICT industry capabilities of the Datamonitor Group are tremendous."
