Posted on 03/08/2009 in Pharmacy Supplier News Reckitt Benckiser has posted "very good first half" results, according to its chief executive.
Bart Becht, chief executive of the organisation, made his comments as the firm reported its financial results for the six-month period ended June 30th.
The company posted an increase in total net revenue of eight per cent, with the new figure standing at 3,783 million pounds.
Additionally, the board of directors recommended a 34 per cent increase in the interim dividend to 43p per share.
Mr Becht said: "Reckitt Benckiser had a very good first half despite challenging market conditions, with net revenue growth of eight per cent at constant exchange."
He said that the strong start to the year has resulted in increases in the full-year 2009 targets, with the company now aiming for target net revenue growth of five to six per cent. The target previously stood at four per cent.
In recent weeks, the firm announced the retirement of senior vice-president of human resources Frank Ruether. He has been succeeded by Simon Nash.Other news stories from 03/08/2009
