Posted on 30/07/2009 in Dental Supplier News Dentsply has named Blakeslee as its agency of record for two of the divisions within its orthodontic franchise - Dentsply GAC International and Raintree Essix.
The company will provide full public relations, creative and production services, as well as strategic counsel, across all communications platforms, including online and print media.
Duane LeVine, president of Blakeslee, noted that given the empirical link that exists between oral hygiene and overall health, the two brands are well suited to enhance their leading positions within the sector and also advance the entire dentistry industry.
"We are confident in our ability to help these companies advance what are already two tremendously-successful franchises," he added, noting that the deal will benefit the firms, their constituents and members of the public.
In recent days, Reuters suggested that Dentsply could benefit from a recent ruling by the Food and Drug Administration that stated that dental amalgams do not release harmful levels of mercury, reversing an earlier caution about the dental devices.Other news stories from 30/07/2009
