Posted on 30/07/2009 in Pharmaceutical Company Financials Recordati has announced positive financial results for the first half of 2009, including consolidated revenue of 379.3 million euros (324.8 million pounds).
In a statement, the company explained that this represented a rise of 8.9 per cent over the same period last year.
Meanwhile, pharmaceutical revenue rose by a total of 10.1 per cent to stand at 365.1 million euros and international sales increased by 12.5 per cent to 269.1 million euros.
Recordati stated: "The group's business performance was in line with expectations during July. Performance during the second half of the year is also expected to be positive allowing us to confirm our full-year targets previously announced."
These targets are operating income of around 155 million euros, net income of approximately 105 million euros and revenues of roughly 750 million euros.
