Agilent has announced the availability of an updated version of its NanoSuite software.
Formerly known as TestWorks, the application is designed to be used in conjunction with the firm's tensile-testing and nanoindentation instruments.
Agilent explains that NanoSuite 5.0 includes enhanced imaging capabilities, as well as a new test method environment, and it aims to offer researchers the capacity to run tests and manage data with "unprecedented" ease and speed.
Jeff Jones, operations manager for Agilent's nanoinstrumentation facility, said that the new software extends the use of a range of the company's products, such as the G200 and G300 Nano Indenters.
"This new software underscores our commitment to the continued evolution and support of our high-precision nanomechanical test instruments," he added.
Earlier this month, the company announced the introduction of the SureSelect DNA Capture Array, which is designed to streamline studies by allowing scientists to sequence only areas that are of genomic interest.
