Research and Markets published the review Oral Hygiene in Middle East and Africa to 2012 - and the firm was announced as the leading business for 2007.
The paper explained about all aspects of dentistry in the region, including market share, volume segmentation and expenditure.
Dental care, floss, toothpaste, brushes and mouthwash use and purchases were analysed too.
As well as reviewing activities in 2007, it also outlined predictions for the next few years up until 2012.
Procter & Gamble and Unilever were named as second and third most successful oral companies respectively in the region for dental health.
Colgate's history dates back to 1806 when William Colgate started a starch, soap and candle business in New York.
Since then, it has developed into an international firm that has won an assortment of awards.
