Public offered allergy screenings

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) is offering visitors to an upcoming event the chance to find out the cause of their allergies.
Attendees at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show can take the examination between July 7th and 12th.
Representatives from the organisation and Allergy UK will be on hand to arrange check ups and to answer any questions.
Chief executive of the NPA John Turk explained one in three people suffer from an aversion to something at one point of their life, adding many can be disrupted by the symptoms.
Trained pharmacists can advise the public on how to cope, he pointed out, which is vital as there are only six specialist centres in the UK.
"We are delighted to be able to offer people attending Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this service and will have information available on the local availability too," concluded Mr Turk.
In other news, the NPA recently gave members the chance to offer flu vaccinations to customers under a private patient group direction.
