Bayer Animal Health is promoting its worming brand Drontal on television.
The company has agreed to sponsor a programme called The Dog Whisperer on Nat Geo Wild, explained the website Marketing.
As well as helping finance series five of the show, the firm will also support re-runs of the first four series.
From July until December, the programme ? which follows Cesar Millan offering troubled pet owners advice ? will be aired five times a day.
Advertisements of the canine and feline worming product will be shown before, during and after each episode.
Previously, the product has also sponsored the Essex Dog Display Team, as well as GMTV's All About Pets Weeks.
The company advises animal owners to treat their creature companions for worms four times a year, although it added there may be times when more frequent therapy is required ? such as when they are a puppy or kitten.
Cats that hunt and eat mice, as well as pets that suffer from flea problems, may need additional courses of medication too, the firm added.
