Thermo Fisher Scientific solvent delivery systems said to bring flexibility
Thermo Fisher Scientific’s new solvent delivery systems are said to bring more flexibility for high-performance applications.
A statement from the company announced the launch of the Accela 600 HPLC and Accela 100 U-HPLC, which are designed to reduce solvent consumption yet enable rapid method development.
The firm said as well as being some of the best dedicated LC tools, they also complement mass spectrometers already on the market and increase productivity.
"While the rest of the industry focuses on increasing pressure, the Accela systems, equipped with FFC technology, deliver excellent compositional and flow rate accuracy and precision resulting in high levels of reproducibility," remarked vice-president and general manager of liquid chromatography at Thermo Fisher Scientific Andrew Altman.
He added that when used with the company’s LTQ Velos they create the fastest LC-MS in the world with better ion-trapping efficiency.
Thermo Fisher Scientific employs over 30,000 people and claims to serve more than 350,000 consumers.
