Posted on 26/06/2009 in Pharmacy Supplier News Procter & Gamble (P&G) has asserted Charlotte R Otto has helped the company build and protect its business and reputation.
It was announced the 55-year-old would retire from her position as global external relations officer after 13 years in the role and 33 years of service.
After stepping down from the title on July 1st, she will support board chairman A G Laftley as full-time chair of the 2009 Cincinnati community United Way campaign for two years before she takes full retirement.
Mr Laftley noted Ms Otto sponsored the Live, Learn & Thrive cause, which has helps 60 million children around the world every year improve their lives.
"She has championed development of influencer marketing for P&G brands and advanced breakthrough work to measure its business building impact," he added.
In conclusion, he stated Ms Otto has played an important leadership role in the Cincinnati community.
Christopher D Hassall has been named as her successor. He currently works as vice-president of the company's corporate communications and reputation division, as well as in the America external relations department.
