Posted on 24/06/2009 in Pharmacy Supplier News AAH Pharmaceuticals is pleased Bristol-Myers Squibb has chosen it as one of its wholesale partners, it has stated.
The change, which will be effective as of August 1st, was implemented by the latter company in an attempt to simplify its distributing and selling arrangements.
Bristol-Myers Squibb has also agreed to use the services of Alliance Healthcare.
Director of external affairs and market access for Bristol-Myers Squibb Richard Marsh explained the deals will enable the business to streamline its supply chain for its products and increase efficiency.
Mark James is the group managing director of AAH and commented the firm will be able to make sure consumers continue to purchase products from Bristol-Myers Squibb's range at competitive prices with a high level of service.
"This decision reflects our ability to work in partnership with manufacturers to design distribution solutions which best meet their needs and those of dispensing customers," he said.
In other news, AAH Pharmaceuticals recently appointed a new sales director.
