| Agilent Technologies releases new oscilloscope software | Posted on 18/06/2009 in Scientific Agilent Technologies has announced the release of a new software platform for its range of oscilloscopes.
Designed for use with the Infiniium 9000 and 90000 Series models, InfiniiSim is a waveform transformation product that gives engineers the ability to perform high-speed serial data viewing.
Among the systems where the new software allows for this are PCI Express, USB 3.0, SATA and DisplayPort, with options like de-embedding and virtual probing also available for real-time analysis.
Users will also be able to validate circuitry, correlate board integrators and make use of templates including channel insertion, removal models and probe loading elimination.
Scott Sampl, vice-president and general manager of Agilent's oscilloscope business, said the new technology would provide a boost to what was already an award-winning range of instruments.
"This waveform transformation software ushers in a new era of validation and insight for engineers who use high-performance oscilloscopes," he added.
Agilent Technologies this week began its Digital Measurement Forum in Korea.
