| Agilent Technologies chosen for HDMI testing facility | Posted on 16/06/2009 in Scientific Agilent Technologies has announced it has been chosen to supply a range of products for use in a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) testing facility.
The company was selected by Digital EMC to provide its HDMI 1.3 Compliance Test Solution for use in a new authorised centre that is set to be opened in Korea later this year.
It is hoped the unit, which will be the eighth of its kind in the world, will help assist in the production and establishment of the video and media cabling solution across the globe.
Scott Sampl, general manager of Agilent Technologies' oscilloscope business, said the company was excited to have been chosen for the project - as it was reflective of its expertise in the field.
"It demonstrates once again Agilent's leadership position as the provider of high-speed digital test solutions for HDMI," he added.
The firm was recently chosen to provide a range of solution kits for use in engineering and electronics education to the PSG College of Technology in India.
