| TTP Labtech announces application note validation | Posted on 16/06/2009 in Scientific TTP Labtech has announced the publication of a new application note that validates the use of its Rapid 4 system.
It has been noted the instrumentation is suitable for use in the study of Protein A biosensors as part of a research paper put together by Nature Methods and displayed online.
"The biosensor surface can routinely be used in conjunction with the Rapid 4 instrument to monitor antibody concentrations from undiluted crude samples or as capture surface for kinetic characterisations," TTP Labtech explains.
In addition, it suggests the application note shows surface stability to be more than adequate and the lifespan of the system to be the equivalent to at least 1,000 sample injections - when based on a four-channel parallel.
According to the paper, the system can also be used in biotherapeutic development, protein expression and recombinant optimisation, as well as quality control in manufacturing processes.
