| 3M Health Care offers orthopaedic education facility | Posted on 12/06/2009 in Scientific 3M Health Care has announced the availability of a new facility which aims to help improve orthopaedic procedures for patients.
The company unveiled a new online portal where its customers can learn more about recent developments in the field and the many changes that have affected how treatment is provided.
In a move the firm believes will assure people of its continued commitment to creating strong learning platforms for people, the educational resource is available now via the 3m.com/immobilization URL.
Dennis Graham, immobilisation marketing manager for 3M Health Care, said the facility was based on good information and the requirements of the company's existing client base.
"[We] listened to our customers' needs and we've responded with resources that allow healthcare providers to reference a wealth of web-based educational information, reducing their reliance on product vendors," he added.
Also this week, 3M announced a range of privacy filters designed especially for use with netbook PCs.
