Posted on 05/06/2009 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures Reckitt Benckiser has announced Simon Nash will join its workforce as senior vice-president of human resources (HR).
Currently he works at Novartis Consumer Health, where he has spent ten years, with his most recent role being global head of HR.
Fortune Brands, Procter & Gamble, Mars and Kraft are all other companies Mr Nash has held positions at. As well as the UK, he also has experience of the Swiss and American markets.
Mr Nash is taking the place of Frank Ruether, whose retirement will be effective as of July 1st.
Since joining the company in 1996, Mr Ruether has been a "key player" during the merger of Reckitt & Coleman and Benckiser, helping the business develop from a multi-local firm into a global organisation.
"Under his watch, [Reckitt Benckiser] has substantially upgraded its bench of talent," the business noted.
"Importantly, he helped create ? [the company's] highly innovative category development organisation."
Earlier this year, Alain Le Goff stepped down as executive vice-president of the supply division after a 23-year career with the company.Other news stories from 05/06/2009
