Posted on 26/05/2009 in Medical Company Product News Bausch & Lomb's SoftLens daily disposable contact lenses promise to keep young eyes feeling fresh throughout the warmer months, thanks to its ComfortMoist Technology.
It provides comfort all day long because of the combination of its unique thin design and innovative packaging solution that contains poloxamine.
Due to its slow release, the storage solution creates a cushion of moisture around the lens to protect the eyes.
The company asserted the product will be ideal for the style-conscious young who may switch from wearing glasses one day to contact lenses the next.
Mr Sunil Gadgil from the marketing division commented on the products.
He said: "[They allow] for a thinner, more naturally-feeling lens on the eye in addition to the cushion of moisture that envelopes the lens keeping your eyes comfortable all day through [until] the end of the day."
Earlier this month, Bausch & Lomb named Peter Valenti III as the new corporate vice-president and global president of the company's Vision Care department. The appointment will be effective as of July 1st.Other news stories from 26/05/2009
