| Agilent Technologies MATLAB tool will increase convenience | Posted on 21/05/2009 in Scientific Agilent Technologies has made available its MATLAB data analysis software, which it said will increase convenience for users.
This is because they can obtain it when buying the Agilent 86100C DCA-J oscilloscopes and be confident in the knowledge that the installation is "qualified and supported" by the company.
The combination of products means analysis, visualisation and filtering of signals can be undertaken by engineers who can save time by using data analysis software from one source.
According to Agilent, this will leave more room for creating and testing designs of a high quality.
"Many of Agilent's customers already use MATLAB software and it is extremely important to them," said vice-president and general manager of the oscilloscope business Scott Sampl.
"Our customers can now quickly and easily buy a complete hardware and software solution."
Oscilloscopes available from the firm have bandwidths ranging from 20 MHz to 90 MHz.
Meanwhile, this week saw Agilent Technologies attend a conference and demonstrate its SuperSpeed USB test solution portfolio, as well as its USB 3.0 portfolio.
