Posted on 13/05/2009 in Pharmacy Supplier News Beiersdorf's previous marketing director Andrew Frost has been appointed as a non-executive director of Solihull NHS Care Trust Board.
The trust provides a range of services including residential care, support for carers, health advice and guidance, and healthcare.
Both executive and non-executive members make up the board and the latter are selected by the Appointments Commission.
Mr Frost's new position began on April 2nd and will last until April 1st 2013. He says he is looking forward to making a contribution and is delighted to join a team committed to improving the wellbeing of local people.
"There is no doubt that these are challenging times and yet the energy which is evident within the care trust gives confidence that positive change will be delivered," said Mr Frost.
He will receive £7,882 per annum in remuneration for serving on the board and the associated responsibilities.
Earlier this month, Beiersdorf published an updated sustainability report. It outlines the company's activities in environmental protection, occupational safety, business management and employees.
