Agilent Technologies unveils new probe kit
Agilent Technologies has announced the launch of a new probe kit which it specifically designed for making time-domain reflectometry (TDR) and time-domain transition (TDT) measurements.
Used by engineers looking to quantify the signal integrity of high speed networks and connections, these two measurements are extremely valuable in printed circuit board making and the manufacturing of components.
The new Agilent N1021B 18-GHz differential TDR probe kit works by connecting printed circuit boards and other devices without connectors to the 54754A differential TDR/TDT module in the 86100C Infiniium DCA-J wideband oscilloscope mainframe.
Scott Sampl, vice-president and general manager of Agilent’s oscilloscope business, said the new device complements Agilent’s already broad offering in signal integrity applications by bridging the gap between calibrated, precision coaxial-based instruments and real-world devices without connectors.
Agilent Technologies recently announced that its science sales job team had won a contract to supply Simplay Labs in Shanghai with new equipment.
