Posted on 06/05/2009 in Veterinary Supplier News Dechra's new online source will enable vets and nurses to improve their knowledge, understanding and patient care.
The company has introduced a distance-learning course onto the web to help maximise the potential of its Vetivex fluids range.
Called the Fluids Knowledge Programme, it combines theoretical and practical guidance on therapy for horses and small animals.
Progress can be monitored throughout the course and users can also answer self-assessment questions.
Marketing director for the firm Gwenda Bason explained the company has spent many months researching and developing the learning portal for veterinary professionals.
"Being online, users can dip in and out of it as and when their schedules allow and additional costs often associated with CPD learning, such as travel or accommodation costs, are eliminated," she noted.
Last month, Dechra launched a range of materials to assist practices in educating and supporting their clients with cats with hyperthyroid problems.
The support package includes educational booklets, notice board display, promotional items and online training for vets and veterinary nurses.Other news stories from 06/05/2009
