Considering exchange rates, revenue increased by four per cent compared to the same period a year ago, taking it to DKK 4,315 million (516.3 million pounds).
Sales growth during the first three months of the year was influenced by problems experienced by its German subsidiary, the firm asserted.
The urology and continence care division increased by eight per cent, the wound and skincare department grew by seven per cent and the ostomy care section rose by three per cent.
In the management statement, it was noted the figures were reasonable.
The company asserted the financial position the group is in reflects any uncertainty or significant risks it might face.
Coloplast has now amended its goals for the rest of the year and predicts revenue will increase overall by six per cent.
