Posted on 14/04/2009 in Dental Supplier News Astra Tech is committed to providing high quality, simple and cost-effective products to its consumers, it has claimed.
This comment came from the company's vice-president of marketing Craig Rodriguez after the firm announced the enhancement of the online Atlantis WeBOrder system.
The improvements include the addition of the Atlantis 3D Viewer, which allows professionals to view a 360-degree model of the abutment designs before it is finally produced.
Customers now have access to the case images 24 hours, seven days a week as it is based online.
Implant coordinator at Van Hook Dental Studio in Arizona John Ingall said the new technology places Astra Tech "at the leading edge of Cad/Cam abutments on the market now".
Mr Rodriguez added that the 3D viewer option "is just one step in our continued product development that improves the overall bottom line for our customers".
Last week, the dental implant maker announced it had reduced the amount of time it takes to make Atlantis abutments to as little as one day to some customers.Other news stories from 14/04/2009
