Bupa care homes get better, it is stated
People living in Bupa care homes believe the standards are continuing to rise, according to an independent survey of residents and their families.
Researchers from the private care home operator found that a growing number of people are impressed by Bupa’s facilities, cleanliness, activities and care.
The vast majority – 94 per cent – of residents described their Bupa care home as ‘excellent, very good or good’, as did 93 per cent of relatives.
Over four-fifths of relatives said they ‘would definitely, are very likely to, or are likely’ to recommend the Bupa care home they have experience of to someone else.
Alistair How, UK care homes director for Bupa Care Services, commented that residents’ and relatives’ views on Bupa care homes are “clearly positive”.
“We have thousands of dedicated people working to provide the best, individual care to our residents and I am pleased this survey shows their efforts are being appreciated by the people who matter,” he said.
Bupa Care Homes operates more than 300 residential and nursing homes throughout the UK.
