Agilent Technologies demonstrates PCI Express Jammer
Agilent Technologies has demonstrated a number of products and items at a design event including "the industry’s first" PCI Express Jammer.
The jammer called the N5323A includes inline error injection and offers the ability to undertake disruptive tests of PCI Express devices in live systems, in spite of differences in application types and operating systems.
Described as a "breakthrough concept for PCI Express testing", the product was showcased along with powerful signal integrity toolset, a million-bit-per-minute channel simulator and a jitter-tolerance test, designed for embedded and forwarded clock devices, at the DesignCon 2009 event in California this week.
Agilent Technologies will also host a number of forums and presentations at the conference, which aim to assist computer and consumer component vendors maintain competitiveness.
Siegfried Gross, vice-president and general manager of Agilent’s Digital Test Division explained: "Agilent partners with computer and communication-component manufacturers to help them be well positioned in the market throughout the business cycle."
