3M announces acquisition of Grafoplast

3M has announced it has completed the acquisition process for wire identification systems manufacturer Grafoplast.
Italian company Grafoplast, founded in 1963, also makes a range of electrical permanent marking products which 3M said complements its own tape marking products.
The systems are utilised for marking control and distribution panels, sub-motor and sub-assembly leads, hoses and wires in motorised vehicles, terminal strips, parts for replacement and repair was well as cable and wire.
Commenting on the acquisition, the buyer said: "Together, 3M and Grafoplast will offer a complete marking system solution for our customers globally."
Grafoplast also manufactures items such as thermal printers, software, insulated end sleeves, cable holders and identification systems for special applications for use by automation industries spanning Italy and the continent.

scientific sales jobs may also be interested in 3M's acquisition of the Futuro Product Line from Beiersdorf, which was announced by the research development company earlier this week.
