Sigma-Aldrich has announced the international release of its Mission In Vivo Quality and iScale Oligos siRNA.
Researchers may now be able to move on in their RNAi research "with the highest purity and quality siRNA required for RNAi research in animal models", which is also appropriate for target validation and pre-clinical siRNA testing, Sigma-Aldrich said.
Mission In Vivo Quality siRNA, developed specifically for in vivo usage, includes RP-HPLC to guarantee a high percentage of full-length product. It also features 22 micrometre sterile filtration, dialysis on the annealed product and testing to ensure an absence of endotoxins.
Tim Fleming, director of global commercial marketing, commented: "Increasingly, RNAi researchers are utilising animal models to confirm findings from cell culture based assays or to explore the use of siRNA as a potential therapeutic agent."
People in
science sales jobs may also be interested in Sigma-Aldrich's distribution agreement with basic and clinical life science research company AlphaGenix, which was announced last week.
