Lilly among physicians' "most appreciated companies"

Lilly has been announced as one of the three companies to win the Most Appreciated Pain Drug Company Survey.
Along with Pfizer and Endo Pharmaceuticals, 100 pain clinic physicians polled in September this year said the organisations were noted for their knowledgeable, respectful and informed sales representatives.
The companies were also hailed for their sampling/voucher plans and educational resources as well as their drug products.
Susan Olsen, president of the Worldwide Marketing Research & Strategic Consultancy, commented: "While Pfizer, Lilly and Endo may be the most appreciated companies among many of the surveyed pain clinicians, there is plenty of opportunity for others to enhance their company image."
Clients that subscribe to the Pain Clinic Monitor have full access to the results of the study.
Launched in January of this year, the monthly audit of 100 academic and non-academic office-based pain clinics - each reporting treatment details for ten patients - is the basis for 27 pain condition profiles.
Ms Olsen said the Pain Clinic Monitor is a "fresh, unique focus on point of care pain prescribing" and gives the opportunity to obtain actionable findings for product development.
Based in Indianapolis, US, Lilly employs 40,217 people worldwide and has products marketed in 143 countries.
