Held for analysts and portfolio managers on Monday November 24th, Schering-Plough's chairman and chief executive officer, Fred Hassan and Tom Koestler, executive vice president and president at Schering Plough Research Institute - along with other members of management - will host the meeting.
The gathering is set to provide an update on current projects and the strategic Action Agenda, along with reviews of produces and selected other schemes.
The webcast itself will be available on the Schering-Plough's investor relations section of its website, streamed live from 08:30 (Eastern Standard Time), with a replay available at 17:00.
In other news, boceprevir, Schering-Plough's investigational oral hepatitis C protease inhibitor, increased sustained virologic response (SVR) rates alongside 28 weeks of therapy.
Additionally, the inhibitor was also found to nearly double SVR with 48 weeks of therapy, compared to the current standard of care.
Formed in the late 1800s as the US subsidiary of Schering AG, a German-based pharmaceutical and chemical company, Schering-Plough was then incorporated in New York City in 1928.
