| Anachem launches Bambanker system | Posted on 06/10/2008 in Scientific Anachem has announced the launch of the Bambanker serum-free freezing medium.
The company states the system will save consumers both time and money, as well as greatly improving cell recovery rates in comparison to regular cell freezing media.
Bambanker enables the long-term storage of cultured cells at a temperature of -80 degrees C and in liquid nitrogen, as well as being able to be used for the freezing and preservation of sensitive and valuable tumour or non-tumour culture cells, it adds.
"There is no need for a programmable freezer or sequential freezing steps, saving you time. With a shelf life of 24 months when stored between two and ten degrees C it offers a hassle-free, cost effective option for your cell storage," Anachem states.
It concludes by noting no dilutions or additions of other components such as glycerol are needed.
Meanwhile, the firm recently announced a competition providing consumers with the chance to win an iPhone 3G.
