TTP LabTech contributes to Queen’s Award for Enterprise win
TTP LabTech has helped TTP Group with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, it has been announced.
Web resource PharmaLive notes the accolade was granted in recognition of TTP’s annual export revenue, which is in excess of 20 million pounds.
This represents more than 70 per cent of its total income.
According to Cambridge-based TTP LabTech: "The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious in the UK for business performance, recognising and rewarding outstanding accomplishments by UK companies."
It explains that each year, the presentations are made by the Queen on the advice of the prime minister, who is in turn advised by a committee that includes government, industry and commerce representatives.
TTP was awarded the Technological Achievement Award for its bacteria detecting device ChemScan.
In recent months, TTP LabTech announced the launch of the RAPid 4 flow-based analysis system, which is capable of performing label-free interaction analysis.
