Waters has been identified as a technology leader by industry experts.
The practical and sustainable innovation provider has received Frost & Sullivan’s mass spectrometry innovation of the year award for its SYNAPT high definition system.
It also won Strategic Directions International’s Instrument Business Outlook’s Best New Product for the Xevo TQ, at the 2008 American Society of Mass Spectrometry annual meeting.
Brian W Smith, vice-president of mass spectrometry operations for the organisation, said the company appreciates the due diligence from both awards.
"Waters mass spectrometry is experiencing significant momentum in the marketplace. Our scientists have developed novel innovations and the beneficiaries have been our customers who are realising new levels of success in reaching their own goals," he added.
Earlier in the month the firm published a rapid screening method for hundreds of pesticide residues in food.
The firm’s new product uses a single ten-minute run to detail rapid analysis on pesticides using its Acquity TQG.
