| Vetoquinol backs Blue Cross via Propalin product | Posted on 01/08/2008 in Veterinary Supplier News Vetoquinol, the veterinary supply business, is to support the work of the Blue Cross charity organisation via its Propalin product, it has been revealed.
Propalin is distributed around the UK and Vetoquinol has committed to diverting 18p for every 100 ml bottle and 7p for every 30 ml bottle it sells until the end of the year.
The product is used to help dogs and their owners deal with instances of canine urinary incontinence and is currently the best selling of its kind on the market in the UK.
"Animals with urinary incontinence need help, not punishment, so we felt that Propalin would be a natural partner for the Blue Cross which helps homeless or unwanted animals to find loving new homes," said Slavica Sobot, Propalin's product manager.
Vetoquinol first started operating in the UK in 1982 and the company maintains that it is committed to improving the standards of animal health products, while sticking to its "long-established ideals of social awareness".
