| Greiner Bio-one looks to enhance sales and marketing division | Posted on 30/06/2008 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures Greiner Bio-one has announced two new management appointments that it is hoped will enhance the overall operation of its sales and marketing division.
Rainer Perneker is to become the president of the company's sales and marketing activities in North America, while Carol D'Anca has been named as the executive vice president of the same operating arm.
Mr Perneker joined the company in 1994 and having been handed responsibility for manufacturing in North America eight years ago, he is now set to report directly to Greiner Bio-one's chief executive Franz Konrad.
Meanwhile, Ms D'Anca has been with Greiner Bio-one since 2000 and previously worked as a sales and marketing management executive at the Cardinal Health company.
Greiner Bio-one specialises in delivering laboratory research technologies to the pharmaceutical sector and having been founded in the late 19th century now supplies products to more than 100 countries worldwide.
