Andor claims its latest techniques live webinar was a success.
The light measuring solutions manufacturer held the online event, in association with Microscopy and Analysis magazine, to cover the latest techniques in laser-based spinning disk confocal systems.
Held on May 13th, the webinar watched by over 100 online attendees also discussed the principles and benefits of EMCCD camera technology and the features of the Andor Revolution microscopy system.
The event was hosted by the publication’s Julian Heath and Andor’s Mark Browne and was described as a "huge success".
According to the firm, the webinar will be available to be viewed as a free download for the next 12 months.
Meanwhile Andor announced last week that it would be attending the eighth European Light Microscopy Initiative in Switzerland this week.
The firm has headquarters in Belfast and employs more than 160 staff with distribution to about 40 countries.
It was founded in 1989 by scientists working in the physics department of Queen’s University.
