An independent European study has awarded Quintiles Transnational as the number one clinical investigator site in terms of client satisfaction, it has emerged.
It is reported that the research, which considered relationships between clients and over 300 European clinical investigators across 18 countries, revealed 84 per cent of Quintiles customers said they were either satisfied or extremely satisfied with the firm.
Of the 15 areas in which Quintiles and other clinical research organisations (CROs) were marked was in their ability to provide satisfaction, build relationships and allocate resources such as staff time.
Commenting on the report, vice-president of clinical operations for Quintiles' western Europe and Africa operations, Lindy Jones, said the honour was a result of hard work across the company.
"It is especially pleasing to see these results from all of our efforts to build strong relationships with investigators," she said "It is clear the sites are willing to devote more of their resources to projects they conduct with Quintiles than other CROs".
Last year, ForceLogix and Innovex - subsidiaries of Quintiles Transnational - were awarded the Ventana Research 2007 Operational Performance Leadership Award for Sales.
